I guess I'm really, really bad with the updates....

I remember after the summer training I felt a bit relunctant to go to the college training. Mainly it was because I knew no one but Tiffany, since other sisters from South Bay were not going. But the Lord works in marvelous ways; I wish the training could last a little longer, maybe a month, or a week, or even just one more day.  The subject of the training is the book of Philippians. WOW! In only four chapters, or according to the brothers in only 100 some verses, Christ's all-inclusive riches poured forth into my being, saturating and permeating every part of my being. Seriously, I came back as a different person, or at least for a week I was different -_-.  I don't want to lose the enjoyment of the Lord because enjoying the Lord is such a wonderful feeling. The burden of the training, in my opinion, is not so much about learning the truths, but helping the trainees to pratice a normal christian life. The brothers spoke on how to have fellowship with the Lord in the morning (morning revival) and how to practice the 2's and 3's with your companions.  Morning revival is a must-do for every believer who want to live a life full of Christ.  How can live Christ when the first thing you receive in the morning is something worldly and not of Christ?  We all need to get up early in the morning, fight against our beloved bed, and turn to the Lord to tell Him that we love Him.  It's hard but definitely worth it.  Then there's the two's and three's. They are your vital companions. And the word "vital" is not just there to make you sound good. Vital indicates something that is full of life and energy, always active and strong.  Not only do you need to care for your companion(s) in a human way, but also in a spiritual way.  You two, or three, should be in one accord, in harmony, so that whatever you do or anything you pray for, God will honor them.  All of this may seem impossible, but the brother said that no one will start out perfect.  Only by practcing over and over can you become better.  We should have a positive attitude toward these two practice and allow the Lord to be the one practicing in us.

Goal for the next school year:  Earn enough money for SST in Taiwan next summer!

The ever-so-enjoyable summer training has now ended. I feel that the Lord has truly touched me through the 12 messages, speaking to me in a sweet and intimate way.  I realize that the more I listen to the brothers' messages, the more I get used to their speaking.  Seriously, when I pay attention, and actually listen closely to what their speaking, I can hear the Lord speaking to me, touching me, exposing me, and drawing me closer to Him.  Praise Him for His wonderful ministry on the earth. Sometimes I feel so ashamed when I take the Lord's Recovery for granted.  I should be rejoicing that I am in God's family and that all His riches have been unveiled to us and are so available for us to take in. I want to consecrate myself to the Lord during the college training. May He touch me, speak to me, shepherd me, and care for me.  May this coming week be a time full of Him as our enjoyment, pleasure, and protection.

I met many awesome saints during the training. Although i wasn't able to attend the YP morning studies in the training center every morning, I had an enjoyable time studying with the Taiwan saints. I stayed in the English meeting room with ten other sisters, and they were SO FUNNY! Sorry to say this but this training was the best yet because I actually blent with the saints more than before.  I thank the Lord for this mingling with the saints and I pray that the future trainings will be likewise.  I'm glad that I got to know a number of the sisters personally. Tracy was sweet, nice, and caring; even though she always look sleepy, I know that her spirit is constantly praising and loving the Lord. Pendy and Erica are the funniest blood related sisters I've met.  Their extreme humor always made my day.  Kerstin and Maggie are also blood related, and both of them are just the awesome.  I enjoy Kerstin's courage to practice prophesying in English, and I love having morning studies with her. Maggie is funny and friendly and she's always caring for the other sisters. I truly wish that I would go to Taiwan soon, so I can visit them and enjoy more Christ with them.

Tiffany C. is sleeping in my room! She's the first one from SOCAL to see my house and moreover, sleepover :) We'll be leaving for Sacramento tomorrow after lunch  (hopefully it'll be at CPK).

SUPER FUN @ OAKGLEN!

this is my last last LAST highschool conference...(second to the last was alliance redwood). next time, i'l be a serving one x_x. scary..

my cabin: tiffany chu, tiffany feng, wendy chao, irene ku, amanda shang, deborah chen, and me! tiff, tiffany, and irene slept on the floor. irene complained that tiff kept kicking her off the mattress.

friday night we arrived late...really late. perhaps 10 or 11 o'clock? we didnt get to get a head start for memorizing verses.  next day we had our mtgs and btw every meal was delicious, especially saturday's dinner and sunday's lunch.  during recreation we went to the gym and played fooseball!!!!  my skills have definitely decreased, so are tiffany's, according to her.  we got a handicapped table but we still had fun :D tiffany and i played 1 on 1 for a while, and i think she beat me...her offense is flawless.  wendy played volleyball most of the time and she complained that it was boring.  later wendy tiff and i played the ladder game, in which you have to shoot baskets from certain spots. uh wendy won.  during rest time, we actuallly let deborah sleep, but we told her that she would have to stay up tonight for our verse memorizations.  night meeting was great. brother dennis higashi(sp?) was so funny and i loved the message.  after the mtg was the senior fellowship. half of the time was just silence, but doesnt matter, we got caramel apples.  questions concerning corporate living atthe sister's house were answered.  things became more clear to me.  when tiffany and i got back to the cabin, we just started to memorize.  tiffany said she's not going for all the verses, but she did in the end.  i kinda felt bad that we were too loud that a sister came over to our cabin to ask us to quite down (also the night before).  sunday morning, last message, the final hours as a senior in a highschool conference.  i didnt really pay attention during the message, and i was drawing with wendy.  she drew a better patrick than me.  then it was award time...we were all disappointed that we didnt get the cabin award! we all worked so hard to do  our best, but in the end we were off by just one point because one of the luggage wasnt zipped.  also i thought irene and tiff are gonna get a prize for memorizing over 100, but i guess the prizes were limited so only the ppl who got perfect (tiffany, wendy, me) got the prize. we all shared our prizes later anyways.

we went back to bob's parents' house afterwards and i finally saw elijah again! at first he didnt really play with me, but after the sisters left, we started to have fun :D  elijah made a mess while eating his food so he had to change. and bob made him wear one of his shirts, so it looked like a dress on elijah, which was absolutely adorable. it wasso funny that he was embarrased in the beginning. elijah and wendy communicated by making loud noises at each other, and when he did it too me, i just laughed because i dont know what to do.  before we left, elijah fell on his head. i saw him went to the stairs, so i followed him like 5 min later. but i was too late. the moment he saw me he leaned forward and fell on his head. i freaked out and didnt know how to pick him up. he started crying and i felt so bad..i could've saved him!!! ugh. i'd be the worst baby-sitter.

well, im really going to treasure the time i spent with the hacienda ppl. they're always so funny and fun.  love them <3

so, tiffany, uc irvine 99% now? remember, no pressure.

ew im sick. i hate being sick. i think  i got sick from yesterday because i didnt wear enough clothes (but i did wear clothes). and now im stuck with an unpredictable runny nose.  i was taking my cal test, solving the problems, and i can feel nose water trickling down my nose -____- it's quite disgusting . i hate it. and now the skin near my nose is irritated because i rub it too much while trying to clean my nose...

SO MANY SCHOLARSHIPS. SO LITTLE TIME. i dont understand how billions of scholarships could just pop out of nowhere within a week period. how am i suppose to do all that.

i like math. i think i'l  like my stats class. one of the math teachers at my school is also in that class, which is pretty funny.  i just hope that i wont fall asleep in a 2 hour class, where all we talk about is statistics. funfunfun

im glad im writing this entry right now. i dont want my life to pass by without no one knowing it, including my self. newer goal: make an entry at least once a week.

my first week of break is "WOW". this training was probably the most enjoyable so far, because i actually understood the messages and took a lot of notes (3-5 pgs/msg).  the subject was on 1 & 2 Peter and Jude. the messages were full of the riches of Christ, and that was probably why i was able to take so much notes.  1 &2 Peter goes over God's economy and His government. Grace, sufferings, life and building were so covered in the messages.  i enjoyed that God's government dealing is for His economy, and we are all under His provision. Bad things, or sufferings, may seem unfair at times (as we often wonder "why do bad things happen to good ppl), but it is when we suffer that God can work Himself into us, that we turn back to the Lord, and that He becomes more precious to us.  the matter about life and building is that, life is for the building, and we must grow in life in order to build His living house.  We are all partakers (an active person) of the divine life, and by partaking of the divine life, we also get the divine nature of God, which will be expressed through us.  All this is for a rich entrance into the kingdom of God.  As we partake of God more and more each day, we are one step closer to gaining this rich entrance. we dont want to barely make it in, we want to be in! AMEN

beside the training, i enjoyed blending with saints all over the world.  i got to see tiff, tiffany, irene, deborah, jessica, josephine, jodie, amy, andrea, angela, naomi (the baby, cute!), elijah (cute too!), samuel, zoe, nehemiah (sp?), jonathan, kevin, abe, edgar, jolly, justin, steve, bob, jane, naomi (oklahoma), marianna, esther, rebecca, felicia, tim, pat, shep, allie, elizabeth, pheobe, abe (pheobe's bro), david, hanna (D.C.!); and i also met some new ppl: pricilla (roommate), (study group) tammy, nisha, claudia, pamela, cathy, and two serving ones (whose names i forgot x__x), taiwan saints, and some others whom i cant remember right now.  im so glad that im in the body, the bigggg family :D

i thank deborah for her labor: eating out with the sisters, buying us boba, takingus to her house, letting us playwith elijah, and sheperding us :D
